Natalia Kopkina

Bio

Natalia Kopkina (b.1984) is a Finnish photographer based in Helsinki.

Kopkina graduated with an MA in Photography from Aalto University’s School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2015. She has also studied theoretical philosophy in the University of Helsinki and photography in School of Visual Arts in New York.

A founding member of Finnish Darkroom Association, Kopkina works extensively with analogue printing processes. In 2018 Kopkina founded a non-profit publishing imprint I am not Publishing for artists’ books and publications with an emphasis on photography.
